Ajay Welfare Trust is looking forward to set up a care giving unit or commonly known as old age homes for 100 elderly helpless poor people every year. Although Ajay Welfare Trust realizes that an elderly person deserve attention from their family but looking at the data it is found that the number of neglected elderly people is rapidly increasing and there is a huge need of an intervention to address the problems that are elderly people are facing at the moment. The aim is to establish sustainable transitional living as an option for elderly to maintain independence. Person above the age of 60 years belonging to any religion, cast, class, elderly having no dependable children and the elderly financially incapable/weak will be supported. There will be facilities like Yoga and Meditation, physiotherapy, recreational activities and yearly activities such as foundation day, picnic and birthday celebrations.
